About
About
This project reimagines Kohimarama, an Auckland beachside suburb traditionally seen as outdated and conservative, by introducing a modern, luxurious development of just three apartments. Aimed at high-net-worth individuals seeking exclusivity in a premium location, the brand challenges typical seaside clichés with a refined, minimalist aesthetic grounded in natural materiality and contextual storytelling.
The identity centres on the concept of “three,” reflected through graphic elements, compositon and underlying grids. Typography is understated yet elegant, complemented by textures and materials inspired by the local environment—sand, sea, and Pōhutukawa trees. Each apartment is uniquely named to reflect its connection to the landscape: The Horizon, The Canopy, and The Shoreline.
Execution focuses on tactility and restraint. From linen-bound brochures with embossed textures to a fluid, narrative-led website, every detail reinforces the brand’s connection to place and purpose. The result is an identity that quietly redefines luxury through authenticity, simplicity, and architectural integrity.
